You are absolutely correct guys. I unzipped the files into a folder with only a shortcut to the original game. I have since unzipped into the original folder on my C drive and had no issues. Thanks

Make sure that all files of the language pack end up in the game's directory, especially those that replace existing ones. Windows Vista and above require administrator rights to change files in the "Program Files" folder, hence unzipping the language pack directly to the game's folder might fail to replace some files. It's probably better to unzip the pack to a folder on your desktop and then copy them to the game's directory.

Did you copy the extracted voice pack's files to the original game folder?

I installed the original broken sword 2.5 and it runs very well however when I try to install the english voice pack I get a fatal error.

I am double clicking on the 'bsengine' file when getting the 'fatal error'. I am also running windows vista

Any help would be appreciated, thanks
