Thanks. I will prepare two files, one of them using Turkish characters and the other not.

If anybody wants to help translating the subtitles into Turkish, just pm me.

Currently, iso-8859-1 is used, so characters that are specific to 8859-9 (as listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO-8859-9) are not supported. However, this is mostly a question of using a different font.

So if you want to, I suggest you write the translations in iso-8859-9, using the full character set provided there. While for now this will mean that the game displays some characters incorrectly, we would simply ship the turkish version with the right font.

Yeah, please don't use special characters.

Hello and thanks for Broken Sword 2.5.

Although Tooms hasn't returned to us for subtitle translations, I wanted to check if the game supports the Turkish characters that are not in English or German alphabet (actually the letters "ı,ş,ğ,ö" that are not in ASCII table). I translated the menu texts and used this new file and as I suspected, the game didn't support these Turkish characters.

Is there a way of showing these characters by using escape character and punctuation marks? If not we have to use "i,s,g,o" instead of "ı,ş,ğ,ö".
