Hello all.
First post and first off congratulations and thanks to the team for making, going on the demo, a great game.
I originally got into BS as I had a PSX and had the 2 BS games for it. I got them again for PC when I got my first PC about 10 years ago.
I'd play them again, as a memory refresher, when 3 and 4 came out. I've been playing 1 and 2 again this year as I've modded my original Xbox and Wii and installed ScummVM on both.
I only got to hearing about this game during the last year whilst looking for information on ScummVM for modded consoles. I don't know how the team feel about it but I hope you/they get some recognition on some of the big game web sites. You've made 2.5 quicker than 3D-Realms and Duke4. All they can come up with this week is a re-release.
A couple of questions.
Will this be a torrent download?
George's Klamottenkonfigurator. Is the idea behind this little application to change George's clothes in the 2.5 demo? I can't seem to get it working. I have it in the same folder. I leave it running whilst playing. In the full release will it be built in?

The Klamottenkonfigurator has nothing to do with the game. It's a standalone program.

Yeah, a torrent will be available.
Da muss ich gleich nachsetzen: Aber es gibt schon auch einen Direkt-DL oder? Torrents liegen mir nicht so...
Gruß,
Andy

Thanks for the answers.
I don't mind people talking in my thread in German/Deutsch but if you're asking me something directly then I have to say I don't speak German. I get bits of it. Even though I'm English I lived in Amsterdam for 8 years and speak Nederlands which seems to help a bit with German. Besides- It looks as though the word "Mirrors" is universal. I thought mirror in German was the same as Dutch. Spiegel.
I really liked dressing George in a mix of blacks/greys and dark blues. Would of loved to of seen it in-game. Any chance of a klamottenkonfigurator for Nico?

There will be both options directdownload, and download via torrent
dunno if i get ur post right, in the Game George will wear one set of clothes, which ist unchangable. I dont believe that there will be a Klamottenkonfigurator for Nico, since the game will be released in little time

Was hast Du gegen Torrents? Ist doch kein großer Unterschied zu normalen Downloads. Naja, ich hoffe auf jeden Fall, dass möglichst viele den torrent nutzen, um die Mirrors zu entlasten. Die dürften gerade in der Anfangszeit ordentlich glühen

Yes I understand now that the klamottenkonfigurator can not be used in-game. When I first saw it I thought, wrongly, that it was for use in-game.
If any of the team are reading - Can I ask if did they at any time consider making something like klamottenkonfigurator so that it could be used in-game?
You'll have to forgive me. I don't know anything about programming so maybe changing clothes is just not possible in your engine.
By the way your engine is something else I wanted to congratulate you on. You've really captured that "old Disney style" that BS 1&2 have.

I´m not in the Team, but i can say you, that it is not planed! The Game-data is stored in a big Archive... If you change the Clothes you would have to repack the whole game.
