How do I select the "Beta-tester" group in the PM?

I also made this. Thought you might like it :)

As it is written in the news, you can apply for beta testers only after the first of august. You'll see the box then, too :)

Hooo well ..
we've been waiting for seven years, I think a couple of more weeks won't do much harm :)

Best wishes for the final steps

Not surpised at all.

I knew they wouldnt deliver I was waiting to see what excuse they'd come up with.

Forget about an 08 release.
They're chancers.

And you seem so pesimistic, that you still stick around ;) Can't find the logic there.. However, I'd find it logical for you to pretend that you believe what you just said and shut up OR keep waiting for the release (as you obviously are) and still be quiet, coz what you're saying is insulting.
Hm... I wonder, what you have made that we could get for free?..

by wow that's a movie story
why don't you guys waste you're time on writing movie stories instead of making such a game. wow stole ur hard drives and escaped to the boarders with ur company car. /applause for the story. :)

who believes that such a project that took centuries from you guys to do (and isn't even done yet) isn't backed up anywhere else and the data is ONLY in your office. I'm sure that you guys know the importance of a backup, but what i also know that you should be smarter in writing excuses and movie scripts :)

as the team consists of different departments, there exist teammember, who are working on the homepage, since these guys dont have any tasks regarding the gamedevelopement itself, writing some story wont effect our effectiveness. Actually, getting so much on my nerves with those wonderful statements, that i do reply to them, slows us down.
Thanks for letting me steal some of ur time by reading this comment.

Team, Don't let sarcastic or negative comments from people who have no regard for your excellent work get you down.

I think perhaps it wasn't the best idea to give an exact date for the availability of the game. In fact, by not giving the exact date [smilie=ziped.gif] not only would it have given your team more flexability for the release date but would perhaps prevent download chaos!
Anybody who (like myself) really wants this game will be checking your site from time to time & this way the downloads would have been staggered instead of one mad rush.

All the best to you all [smilie=thumbup.gif]

P.S. Why not have only registered members being able to post comments?
Also I'm still hopefull about Rolf Saxon (not overly optimistic though).

Whatever it takes for an extraordinary outcome!
It would be a pity to spoil your hard work unleashing an incomplete project.
Keep up the good work, i'm sure the result will pay off!

by keep up the work =)
dont let the people posting negative comments get to you, people who write these comments rarely have the minds to do anything creative, let alone put together a team of people and code a whole project start to finish. As a programmer im fully aware of the problems with bugs and stability vs what the customer wants, and am not one bit surprised that there is a further wait - such is life, end of day, you're doing it for free, and from what i can see on the demo, doing an amazing job, so just keep yourselves focussed and you will get there.

@ people, who write positive comments:
thanks a lot for your understanding and your nice words! It's really nice to hear that you're still waiting for the game ;)

@ those, who aren't so positive:
I can't understand, whether you are so silly to think that the story in the news is fake and it's just for fun, or your sarcastic abilities are really lame.. Either way you sound stupid :)

by ...i expected this
ive seen this before its just like kotf they promise releases and make a quick demo and nothing ever comes of it...probably will say your pc is too old and you need donations to get a new one so you can release the game

if i would say that, would u donate? *g* actually we stopped accepting donations
Who is kotf?
and i dont think the demo was made quick. But everyone has the right, having his own opinion.
