Look at it this way: The extra 5 weeks may be just enough time to work the bugs out of the game. This is good. Good things come to people who wait patiently. I am very willing to wait an extra 5 weeks. See this way when the game is released it will be sometime in say october and give us people a nice relaxing broken sword sequel to enjoy. Hopefully the English voices will be done by that time so all we have are at least two downloads. One version with English Subtitles and English Speech and another Version with German Subtitles and German Speech. :) After the release of the game to the public if there are any errors then the team can choose weather to release update patches etc...

Take care, can't wait for the big release!

In fact, it will be one single download, because the gamer can choose the language and subtitles in the options menue.yeah, there will be an AddOn for the English voices, but later on.

How much later do you think the addon will appear? A month, a couple of weeks?

Maybe a couple of months. We do not want to release a crappy english version and we have started working on it not so long ago, so it'll take time.

Just had a good go on the demo, i thought i was brillant!! such a great job guys!!!

to all the haters - y'all must be ugly, its the only explantion for the pent up anger that causes you to write insults at people who have spent so much time on creating a game for all BS fans.

To the BS team - has charles cecil contacted you about the game? he must be impressed with it.

Some game companies release expensive games that are so full off bugs that they are virtually unplayable, then we have to wait for the patches... I'll wait a little longer for a game that is playable. [smilie=thumbup.gif]

The problem is that the members, who take care of this deal were in the games convention in Leipzig. I can assure you that the beta-testers have been chosen (saw that with my own eyes) and you should get the message anytime (all members, who r still there come back today) :)

I'm sure the team won't be delayed much with the release. They must be quite eager to get it out after all these years!

I must admit, I have been checking this webpage now and then over some years to check the progress, and I had some doubts that maybe this was too ambitious a project for a fan non-profit team of enthusiasts. I'm happy to be wrong - I don't think the project will vanish at this late stage.

AGD Interaktive just released their remake of the old Sierra classic "Quest For Glory 2": http://www.agdinteractive.com/

They used eight years, and the result was worth the wait. I hope the same will be true for "Broken Sword 2.5". Can't wait to play it, so I've already started practising my rusty high school-level German. Don't want to wait for the English voice-pack!

It will be great flashmob: 2050. Several thousands old men, few survivors awaiting release, happily looking on a strange pictures in the prehistoric monitors. [smilie=blink.gif]
