How do I get out of the Hotel Ubu?

I have gone into the hotel and spoken to the boy and the receptionist.
I tried to exit the hotel, but George says it's not a good idea and I can't leave or do anything else!
Help please [smilie=thumbup.gif]

Search the upper floor and you might find something helpful.
