Anyone speaking english here?

Postby Makini » 1. March 2007, 23:18

Hey there!

I'm a huge BS fan, and I found this site - and was amazed! But isn't there some part of the forum for english-speaking users? I would love to help out in making this game, and could probably contribute a lot - since I've been writing for games before.
Cheers,
Martin

What help exactly do you have in mind?
BTW, there are some english threads and you can create your own. You should certainly get some answers. :)

Thank you, I'll find those threads then!

Concerning helping out - I would love helping you guys making this game. Wouldn't it be good for you to have someone internationally (I mean, not speaking german :P) to help out in making the english version? Maybe you've got all the help you need - but as a writer and a huge Broken Sword addict I'd otherwise love to help.
Cheers,
Martin

Well, I don't speak German (just understand a bit). And I'm the only one in the team :)
Actually, we will need a translator in the future, but, as far as I underastand, you don't understand German, do you?

I could do some of the translation work if you still need a translator. I'm German but studying to be an English teacher and grew up kind of bilingual (teaching English is some sort of family disease...). feel free to contact me, I'd love to help out :)

Hm.. I checked it and found out that the majority of the texts are already translated, so we don't need additional help.
But thanks for the offer anyway! :)

I would love to help with whatever you need help with... Perhaps storyline composing and background checking? How many on the team are sufficiently english-speaking?

The story is going to be translated pretty nicely, so the only problem with the english version will be the voices :)

Do you need any Beta-Testers in the future, for finding bugs etc.?
