hi, as you can see im new here, but have just stumbled across this game whilst trying to find something on wiki! downloading the demos now and cant wait. ive always eben into bs and stuff like monkey island etc....hopefully my german will improve significantly so i understan the forum and get excited!

thought youd have a myspace as its just an easy way to contact ppl and find ppl who used to lay the game, theres loads of computer game groups and stuff,just thought youd hve one as its the best way to find ppl these days, all bands, films and comedians have one and even the biggest games such as halo and gears of war and cod etc........ also because broken sword has a very die hard crowd ppl would be likely to help spread the word and add the site. Then you can post bulletins etc with news etc i can help run one if you want one?

Well, I think that it's right as it is. You just look around a bit, read some news and new messages and help if you can. That's all.

Question back: what is so hard about using babelfish when someone wants to know what one german sentence means? I´m certain some of the german users with only basic english knowledge try it from time to time.

It's a simple text in which I wrote something like this: "It's a nice wheather in Lithuania today. The spring has come, so the sun is shining and it's warm. However, you still can't hear birds singing, but soon there will be!" (it's quite complicated to translate exactly and without crappy structures :) )
Where from do you know some Lithuanian? It's really cool, you know! :)

Well, it's easy when you've got the Wikipedia next to you to look for "lietuvių kalba": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithuanian_language . The "ogonek accent" it's quite strange. I thought the language was more influenced by Russian that it really is.

Apart from that, and if you like basketball and EuroLeague, my own city's team is TAU Cerámica Baskonia (present in last 2 season Final Fours) where many Lithuanian players have past with very good aptitude, like Arvydas Macijauskas or Mindauas Timinskas.

Now in this forum it's better to practice and improve Deutsch due to there are more people here with this only language that perhaps don't understand English well . But of course, we'd prefer that if some posts are written in English, and the answering people know both languages, to answer in English rather than German, cause many people have less to translate.

If someone doesn't feel capable of writing in English, well that'll be our business for having entered in a German speaking Forum .

Well, some german posts wouldn't be a big problem if a person isn't really able to write in english (as AGH alreay said). But, you know, german jokes (or smth similar) in english threads might look like an offence or smth :)

anyway, it's really fun to hear something interested in your language ;) And seeing some Lithuanian words written absolutely correctly and in the correct context is even weirder :D
