It is indeed done. We realised some technical and content-based issues. I can't tell you when those will be fixed.

So, the English voices are done and are ready, or the problems are fixed and it is nearly ready etc.?

Can't wait :D

The voices are nearly ready. We still need to resolve the technical issues that Tooms has mentioned and also put some finishing touches on the current audio files.

So, finishing touches as in a few months (like it has been after the previous announcements) or a matter of days? Just curious ;)

Well, I can assure you that it's not a matter of months anymore (unless we run into some more technical problems).

Hi there, first time poster here :)

I'm downloading the game right now, after a nostalgia attack that drove me to play the first 2 broken sword games... I'm not quite ready (nor is my old laptop) to play the 3rd game. I only found out about this fan-made version this week and I've read your website top to bottom... all I can say is thanks a lot! Talk about hardcore fans, indeed the game looks quite good and loyal to the quality of the first 2.

Since I'm not very patient, I think I'll play the game with the subtitles (English and Portuguese - for the chuckle :P) but I'm posting this mainly to get updates on the release of the English voice pack. You know, just in case it does come out soon.

again, danke schön!

erm... scratch that, I've finished the game now... :P

it blew my mind how good it was. Very few factors made it distinguishable from the real thing (meaning, a Revolution Software game). Ten minutes into the game and the fact that the voices were in German didn't faze me anymore... reminded me of when I originally played Monkey Island 1 in Spanish :P

Story and dialogue are almost flawless (only a few minor factual incongruities, but to few to mention :P), the music is spot-on, same goes for the graphics and gameplay, minus the missing cutscenes in which we have to use the sound to fill the gaps, still this is not a complaint. The main cutscene at the end makes it all worthwhile :D

Furthermore, the lovely (if short) epilogue was in fact better than Revolution did in either of this game's official predecessors (both even shorter).

I absolutely loved it guys (and girls, obviously)! Thanks for all the commitment and hard work. I did read the credits to the end, so I have a pretty good idea of the herculean organisational endeavour that this must have required - and all without the help of Revolution! I wonder what they think of the game :D

Viele, viele danke! :D

P.S.: What do I do with my win code, by the way? I see that bonus.brokensword25.com no longer exists :P

I think you could have done much better for George - he sounds so bored and dull as if he is about to fall asleep.
He sounds like a high school pupil reading the today's lesson.

Really, don't you think so?

AMAZING, OUTSTANDING..... and other words ending with "ING"
Seriously though WOW, you guys did a great job with this, i just can not believe this is a FAN-MADE game.
The story, graphics, puzzles and everything else was fantastic.
I have to give this a solid 95% score and a huge thumbs up!
Congratulations on putting out one of the most amazing fan projects i have ever seen in my life.

Oh, and i thought the voice acting was just fine, your never going to get it to sound exactly like the original actors but you did a bloody good job there too! [smilie=thumbup.gif]
